Graphics Card Prices Are Rising Fast (Again), and GeForce Is Taking the Biggest Hit

If you're on the older gen, upgrade ASAP.

No, I will not upgrade because I don't need to upgrade. I imagine there's many out there who fall into the same category.

The years of waiting are not worth it. You're missing out on all the enjoyment of your hobby.

? Of course it's worth to wait for years. For one, I am not getting robbed blind by the Leatherjacketman. I really resent getting conned, you know.

I need like $5K to buy a new rig with a decent GPU. My holidays in the Philippines this year cost me a bit more than half of this sum and I was able to indulge into my hobby too, which is spending time in a hotel room wasted with like 5 east asian beauties thrown around in the bed and off the bed in various postures.

I mean, to each his own. Your hobby is making the Leatherjacketman and Saint Lisa Su/Mr China-what's-his-name at Intel & Samsung rich and my hobby is uh, gymnastics and uh calisthenics with east asian females.

Prices are still going up. Nothing new is getting released for a long time too.

Well that's too bad, looks like my haswell build and my GTX 1080 are gonna have to last another 10 years. I can wait.

I'm set for 5y or more if needed.

I am set for the next 20 years, easily. A 4790K, a Z87 motherboard and a GTX 1080 cost relatively nothing on ebay so even if they fail, I am gonna be good indefinitely, I think.
