Groklaw: we're shutting down because Linux has won

  1. Groklaw, an award-winning website covering legal news related to the open source software community, has announced that it is shutting down on its eight birthday: May 16, 2011. The site will remain online, but it will stop publishing new articles next month because its creator believes the site is no longer needed.

    Coming from an Open-Source programmer that has never heard of Groklaw, I'd say that claiming ownership over Unix is a bit over-enthusiastic anyway. Their cause did seem just and all - but giving in at this state does in fact seem a bit dull. But it's their choice I guess...
