I am having an issue with group policy refreshing on our domain computers. It give this error in the event viewer and when you try to force an update from the command line it gives the same.

The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows could not apply the registry-based policy settings for the Group Policy object LDAP://CN=Machine,CN={31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9},CN=Policies,CN=System,DC=angelinacounty,DC=net. Group Policy settings will not be resolved until this event is resolved. View the event details for more information on the file name and path that caused the failure.

Any insight or help? Thank you all! Maybe I'm missing something but this issue has become quite frustrating.

I already did that or else I wouldn't have posted the thread... Anyways I got it figured out. It was a corrupt policy file. I had to completely rebuild the policy and that fixed the issue.

Good for you - - but it would have been helpful to have posted it
