Alright so heres the deal i bought a 9800gtx+ from tiger direct and well im enjoying it but i bought a gtx260 from best buy to see what the difference is. i was debating should i keep the 9800GTX+ and return the gtx260 or should i keep the gtx260? lemme tell you that the gtx260 is the one wit 192 processor cores if that helps because i see alot with 240 and its pissing me off.

Well, the GTX260 does beat the 9800gtx+ in everything, especially at higher res. I've had both. Actually, I just sold the GTX260 and went to a GTX280 and I have the 9800GTX+ OC in my home beater.. Both good cards... but the GTX260 is better. If you can afford it then ya, keep the 260.

but look here are the specs for the both of them how is it faster

9800GTX+
RAMDAC: Dual 400 MHz
Maximum Resolution: 2560 x 1600 (Digital)
Video Memory: 512MB
Memory Type: DDR3
Memory Interface: 256-bit
Stream Processors: 128
Core Clock: 738 MHz
Memory Clock: 2200 MHz
Shader Clock: 1836 MHz

GTX 260
RAMDAC: Dual 400 MHz
Maximum Resolution: 2560 x 1600 (Digital)
Video Memory: 896MB
Memory Type: DDR3
Memory Interface: 256-bit
Stream Processors: 192
Core Clock: 590MHz
Memory Clock: 1998 MHz
Shader Clock: 1296 MHz

well,it`s not all about pure "specs" I guess,
newer usaully means faster, better improvements in the near future(drivers),
less power consumption and more horsepower in higher resolutions as mentioned before.
but that doesn`t matter if you run it at 1024x768.
if I had the money I`d get that 260 card

heres your answer....
