So my hard drive is physically dieing, says the guy from geek squad. And it wouldnt boot into my os anymore. So under warranty they replaced, and i lost all my data. I have the old hard drive and im connecting it into the computer as a local disk but it wont appear under the hard disk drives. I did the install new hardware and it appeared that one time, but the computer froze when i tried to open it and now it wont appear anymore. I was just wondering is there any way at all for me to get my data. Geek squad said they would do it for me for $99 but i dont have that much information to take. Just a few things that wont even take up 50mb, but they charge for 2gb only. =/
