Hd ready

i know this aint a computer question, but does anyone know if a hd dvd player will work with a hd ready tv and still actually look like its hd quality?

You can just pick up the HD DVD and BLU-RAY dvd player for your HDTV

they also have up converting dvd players that will convert regular dvd's to near HD quality they actually take it from 480p to 720p. I bought one for $100 from LG and it works good.
