Hi my name is Akhilesh sharma new to computing, hope u will bear with me. i bought a acvent computer in 2002. suddenly i realised that i am not geting any sound, i tried divice manager which have no conflict. driver detective etc didn not find any problem with drivers etc. but if i go to cotrol pannel and open sound icon in sound section it says 'no sound divice' i dont understand what to do, also there is one icon in control pannel which says 'Xear 3D (cmi audio config) which doesnt open. can u please advice me what to do. i dont even get startup or shut dn sound from system speakers either. thanks

Did you reinstall your OS recently?

Make sure to download all of the proper driver's for your sound device (up to date)
