Help...Can't Connect to Network

I recently purchased a new desktop (Dell XPS 410) but can't seem to get connected to the internet. I am using the computers MAC address to connect to the Linksys router.

The connection works on my previous computer but not on the new. Also, the computer is recongizing the router but I can't get to any websites.

I assumed the network would be plug and play with the new desktop but I guess not.

Read the manual of the router!
Anyway, easiest would be to 'reset' the router to its initial values (using the reset button).
Then make a new connection using the Connection wizard from the Control Panel or the Networking tab on the Start menu.
Let it find everything automatically.
Once that's going you can set up your firewalls and other security programs.
