Help! Need to remove "trojan-spy.win32@mx" on Vista

[KRS84]

I'm having problems with the spyware trojan-spy.win32@mx, it keeps popping up a box telling me "System Alert: trojan-spy.win32@mx", trying to get me to download "official security software".

How do I get rid of this? Please help, it's very frustrating!!

Use something other than Trend Micro, and McAfee. They do not play nice together, and have mixed results on Trojans anway.
Whatever you use, after a complete scan and removal, immediately reboot into SAFE MODE and run the scans again.
Take a look at the free Avast, and AVG, and consider the free scans (that do not remove) by Panda, Symantec, and Computer Associates.
