Welcome to TechSpot, heez.

Please follow these instructions exactly, cuz it could be disastrous if you would accidentally delete the wrong thing or something.

Run HijackThis with no other programs open except Internet Explorer (where these instructions are). Have it fix the following entries (if there) by placing a check in the box:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [sruusxm.dll] C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\sruusxm.dll,nsrxhv
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IpWins] C:\Program Files\ipwins\ipwins.exe
O20 - Winlogon Notify: wineil32 - wineil32.dll (file missing)
O23 - Service: COM+ Messages - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchosts.exe" -e mc-110-12-0000272 (file missing)

Now click the "fix checked" button.

Now go into task manager by pressing ctrl and alt, and then while still holding them down, pressing delete.

Go to the "processes" tab and end the process for (if there):
ipwins.exe
svchosts.exe
wineil32.dll
sruusxm.dll

Now search your computer for the following files and delete each instance of them: NOTE: Be very careful here. Make sure you don't make any typos when you're typing these names in to search for them.
svchosts.exe
sruusxm.dll
ipwins.exe
wineil32.dll

After you're all done with this, run HijackThis again and post a fresh log as an attachment.

Cheers

there are a lot of svchost.exe but not svchosts.exe

is that what you meant?

cheers for reply

Do not delete svchost.exe It is a valid and essential program. Only delete svchosts.exe, and if no instances of svchosts.exe show up in your search, well, that's excellent. :)
Now, from what I can see, your HijackThis log is clean. You didn't delete svchost.exe, did you? Only delete what I had listed in my previous post. Delete svchosts.exe. Do not delete svchost.exe.
cheers

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

kitty500cat has done a fantastic job of cleaning your system. However, there are still a couple of things that need fixing.

Due to the infections you had on your system, it`s very important that you go and read this thread HERE. If after reading that, you decide you want to continue cleaning your system, please post a fresh HJT log.

Regards Howard

Download the Pocket Killbox programme from HERE. Extract it but don`t run it yet.

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name(NOT THE ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT). See how HERE.

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how HERE.

Open your task manager, by holding down the ctrl and alt keys and pressing the delete key.

Click on the processes tab and end process for(if there).

Update.exe

Close task manager.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=69157

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=69157

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {5CBE3B7C-1E47-477e-A7DD-396DB0476E29} - (no file)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DllRunning] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\rgkilftg.dll",setvm

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [{1D0F11D5-0724-1033-0920-06083006002c}] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\{1D0F11D5-0724-1033-0920-06083006002c}\Update.exe" mc-110-12-0000272

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT.

Locate and delete the following bold files and/or directories(if there).

C:\Program Files\Common Files\{1D0F11D5-0724-1033-0920-06083006002c}\Update.exe

Run the killbox.exe file. When it loads type the full path to the file you would like to delete in the field and check the delete file on reboot button. press the Delete File button (looks like a red circle with a white X). It will prompt you to reboot, select no until you have finished inputting the files you want to delete, only then allow it to reboot and hopefully your files will now be deleted. If your computer doesn`t automatically restart, restart it manually.

This is the filepath you need to enter into killbox.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rgkilftg.dll

Once your system has rebooted, rehide your protected OS files.

Post a fresh HJT log and let me know how your system is running.

Regards Howard :)
