Hi,

I have two hard drive 40 GB and 250 GB, 250 GB partitioned to three parts 2 100 Gb and 50GB. I installed 2k3 on 40 Gb works fine. Insatalled w2k3 on 40 Then started installing windows xp on 50 GB.

40 Gb is the primary hard drive

After copying the initial file XP and windows restarted I received the following error.

" Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.

Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.

Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information."

I believe it is the boot.ini problem. I did do a fix boot and bootcfg /rebuild, windows 2003 is working fine but xp gives me the same error.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanking in advance
