Help with ActiveSync and My Moto Q9m

  1. Hi everyone,

    I just picked up a new phone. The Motorola Q9m. I'm trying to connect it to my pc, via usb. I have installed the latest version of ActiveSync on my computer.

    My problem is this. When I connect my mobile device, the ActiveSync logo turns green(from grey), and ActiveSync displays "Connecting...." It doesn't connect. It displays an error dialog explaining to me that "ActiveSync cannot connect to the Windows Mobile powered device."

    There is a troubleshooter that ActiveSync comes with. All it does is run some tests then takes me to the Windows Mobile KnowledgeBase. I browsed around in the troubleshooter for about an hour and I can't find anything that is helping. I've disabled all firewalls and allowed all usb connections.

    Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

    Pentium D 1.60 GHz
    80 gig WD hdd

    Win Mobile 6.0
    Motorola Q9m
