Hitachi Solid-State Drives are coming

Cost is the thing at the beginning eventually they are going to be cheap will be interesting to see the performance & speed difference.
 
The mass production of SSD's and a big number of SSD makers is going to get the prices droped. Hitachi's move is good news for us.
 
I love how competition drives prices down but also brings the best out of these companies. So much more that it's being done in the SSD department, which is practically the only PC component left that is "overpriced" relative to other components (imo).

I've never owned an SSD, but currently am saving up for one, and once I do, I'm sure the market would be filled with great choices because of activities like these.
