Hotel bans bloggers following feud with YouTuber over free stay

I don't understand your cryptic remark...totally understand bribery - my point is to reward the hotel for their resistance to bribery and give them my business
His point was and you did it again, using bribery in the wrong context. It was an offer for business, no different than newspaper ads.

Nothing about this is bribery. This is an offer to exchange services - you let me stay at your hotel, I'll give you publicity for it. Bribery is extortion. Had she stayed at the hotel and then said "I'll give you terrible reviews to all my followers unless you make my stay free", that would be bribery.

I think you guys are correct...It is a matter of give me services and I will include you in a list that I have evaluated. Subtle, and certainly in a grey area. The NEW economy has certainly shifted typical definitions...

....I would like to declare that I am a "tech media influencer" and would like to receive free goods and services for my reviews as well. Also my posting on this forum clearly benefits techspot and I would like to be paid for my services...in real money not cyber-currency
But Mr Cyber-Twit, with all due respect, "cyber currency" is real money. Just ask any fool with too much spare time on their hands, and a GTX-1080 ti in their computer.

Just out of curiosity, what immoral act would I have to commit in your favor, for you to influrncer my image here at Techspot with a positive makeover, when you become "King of Techspot"?

Hey, just sayin'... :D

That should give Ms. Darby something to strive for, after she gets herself comped for $4,000,000 dollars worth of plastic surgery.

Ms. Darby is a "survivor" though. She's no "skank-flake", whoops, I meant "snowflake".

A lesser vlogger would have offed themselves after being "bullied online" with all the rude things said against her.

Although, hopefully, if she did elect to say, "goodbye cruel world"', we wouldn't have to suffer through the hour long, pissing, moaning, and self pitying video, which would necessarily precede and accompany such a waste of HDD space, on a non-event of this magnitude. Just leave a one page handwritten note, and begone with you.

I might brave watching the video posted though, albeit with the sound turned off. 16 solid minutes of her making victim faces, should provide a hearty laugh.(y)

Not taking any crap from someone is one thing. But pissing on them for walking in the door and asking a question is completely different. The only person that should be ashamed of their self is the hotel management that took to social media. It is not as if they were being harassed by this blogger.

Ohh and for all of you talking about her looks (specifically her eyes). She explains in the video you never bothered to watch, she did cry from this ordeal. But then we already know you don't care making you as bad as the hotel management harassing her. I think I will add your name to the list of people that should be ashamed of yourself.
Dude, (and you know how it pains me when I disagree with you), but IMHO, you're wrong. People like Ms. Darby, who have no tangible talent, other than running their mouths and gossiping like a fish monger's wife, really do need frequent and harsh reality checks, in order that their egos and sense of entitlement are held down to merely, "completely blown way out of proportion with their actual value to society".

Cliff, did I make your, "legion of the should be ashamed of themselves",with that post? Because I sure hope so! :p

No because I do agree with you. And at no point did you agree with management. At no point did I say she was worthy or that she was entitled. In fact I do think she should have been told "NO". I don't agree with how she was told "NO". That was wrong and everyone knows it.
