How can I get minimized items to remain on the task bar when I switch user?

With my previous computer, using Windows XP home. If I had minimized items on the task bar, I could switch user then switch back, those minimized items would still be there.

With this computer, using Windows XP Media Center 2005. If I have minimized items on the task bar, if I switch user then switch back, those minimized items are gone and I have to reopen everything.
How can I get those items to remain on the taskbar?
