How do I replace mobo battery without reseting bios?

Basically, what title says. I've had this machine for 5 years now and last time I booted, clock was in 2005. I don't want to lose my overclock and RAM settings.

COPY down every non-default setting before you pop that battery out. I'm certain you already know this, but when the battery comes out, the BIOS gets reset.

It is possible to place another battery in parallel while you remove-n-replace, but you need wiring skills to do this SAFELY and correctly - - not recommended. The safe way is to just tolerate the reset and then to reprogram the settings.

Well, so be it.
Thanks a bunch
