How many PCs do you own?

A Medion 8383 P4 running XP which was about the worst designed desktop ever but must have been made from top level parts because it's still running.
A second hand Dell desktop running XP which is pretty rubbish but easy to get inside and replace bits if it goes wrong.
A Samsung netbook now running Windows 10 on which I have lavished an SSD drive and 2Gb ram.
An Acer Extensa e264 desktop upgraded to Windows 10 that I bought to replace the Medion. The rubbish PSU died yesterday and I've replace that with a Corsair unit.
A Vaio FZ38M laptop now running Windows 10 with an SSD drive. Bought for very little on eBay with a duff graphics chip. It ended up quite expensive because I had the nVidia 8400 chip professionally replaced. Reflows are not a great idea for graphics problems. If only Sony could have sold it as it is now.
I also have an iPad.

I have 6, plus an old Toshiba Celeron (single core Vista) laptop.

The desktops, (all mainstream), pretty much "span the ages", with the oldest being an eMachines T-5026 (Pent- 4, 3.06Ghz / 915). I bought for myself Feb 14, 2005, it being Valentine's Day and the dirty, thankless job, of buying myself a gift fell to my own hands. Given its date of inception, I use it solely for the cultivation and preservation of erotic art..

Then comes a Pentium Dual Core E-2200 / G-31(resting ATM)

Next, a Core 2 Duo E-7300 / P-45 (in repose also)

A Pentium Dual Core E-6300 / G-41 (NOT the E-6300 C2D from the 1st gen core 2) (long time web box)

A Core i3 530 / H-55 (Sandy Bridge) (sleeping)

And finally a Core i3 3225 / Z77 (Ivy Bridge) <<< As for this boxes future I'm wondering if I should yank the Velociraptor and put a Samsung SSD in it, along with a mid line video card, and skip Skylake. (that would be another i3 of course), altogether. (It does imaging tasks, offline).

I bought a "Digiland" 7" tablet from Best Buy last month for $40.00. (And it's an IPS panel, no less). The trouble is, I only have the vaguest idea how it works. As near as I can figure out, "Android" is nothing but one big mass of APIs. Without "apps", all it seems to be able to do is, tell time, tell you when its battery is charged, and constantly beg to be connected to the internet.:D

As you may have guessed, I have never owned a smart phone. I'm a veritable holdover from the stone age.

Surface Pro original and a lenovo i7 work laptop.

4 total.

Seven. Four of them in working condition, serve me and my family. Actually my every PC being replaced by new machine is being handed over down the family, so it never goes to waste.

I have 5. 1 good for gaming, 1 for home use at my parents, 1 laptop rarely used, 2 older just gathering dust but still working. Except the laptop, every pc I have I built myself.

Own 1, working on replacement. (at work using another + laptop + few servers, but those I don't own, so they don't count)

One good enough PC is really all the PCs you need.
Pretty much as with cars... you can own 50, but you can drive only one at a time anyway... so why bother :D

My main rig: I7 2600 with 32GB RAM and tripple screen :) LOVE IT !!
Old AMD 5400+ still running Vista.
Hackintosh used as a TimeMachine server with iTunes for streaming to apple TV.
2nd box next to my main rig running Windows server for test and deployment.
MacBook Pro Retina 2014 13 inch
And one of those old netbook 10 inch bought in ~ 2010

1 - Uber machine (i7 5960, Triple Titan X)
1 - Old PC (took to work - i870)
3 - Laptops (Sony Vaio for my wife, Alienware 18 for work, Dell XPS m1730 for my wife's work)
3 - Non-used laptops -> Old Dell Latitude, Insipron 8100, Inspiron 9200 --> Collecting dust in my basement
1 - Dead PC (My old Q9450 - the liquid cooling leaked and fried the motherboard :(

Oh... and 2 smartphones (iphone 5s for wife, iphone 6+ for me), 4 iPads (2 iPad Air 2s for me and my wife, iPad 2 for wife's work, iPad 3 for my work)... But they aren't really PCs....

Pretty ancient machines - AMD quad core, AMD Dual Core, AMD single core - 5 to 10 years old - 2 laptops AMD dual core and an Aspire One. Ebay 'used' for recent upgrades. Next upgrade - improve GPU from current GTS 250.

I got a desktop pc from dec. 2008, upgraded in feb. 2014 and one laptop (mar. 2015).

And I prefer using a desktop pc (assembled by me) over laptop because I need hardware power whenever I'm working or gaming.

I don't have a smartphone or a tablet, I can't stand them... I'm a keyboard guy.

11 Running right now - another 7 or 8 in the closet that are no longer worth turning on due to performance. Also several tablets and other computer-like devices.

4 pc in total,
1 main pc core i7 4790 with nvidia gtx 980 gpu
