Hey everyone,

My new computer keeps crashing when I play games and sometimes when I'm just watching youtube...
my specs for my computer:
Mobo: P5B
RAM: 2 - 1GB OCZ Platinum
VC: ATI x850
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 (1.86GHz)
PSU: Enermax 485W

I know it's not compatibility issues, and I don't know what is wrong ...

I did a minidump read (attatched), but can not decipher it. If anyone can help me it would very much be appreciated !!!

Thanks guyz!!!

UCr

I'm also running windows XP on SP2

You've got code corruption along with memory corruption (8 errors) and this is a sign of a RAM problem.

Try running with just one stick of RAM, if it still crashes or doesn't crash for a while, then run the other stick by itself.

DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: CODE_CORRUPTION
FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: MEMORY_CORRUPTION_STRIDE. 8 errors : !splitter (bae04405-bae0443d)

Okay thx!
i tired running one stick and the other stick... it actually lasted a bit longer...
but sadly it still crashes... =(
what is code corruption? I'm kind of a computer newbie
thx again!
