I am planning to set up a home network with sharing

i have 1 pc and 2 laptops and i want them all in a home network to share the internet and also i have 3 500gb harddrives connected to my pc

so what i am looking to do is set up the home network so that we can share the harddrives over the network so while we are working on laptop using the wireless network we should be able to access the hard drives

can someone please help me doing this or if some can guide me to some type of tutorials that can help me achieve what i am looking for ??

There is a good issue in the current issue of Smart Computing on the grocery store magazine racks and book stores and Wal-Mart that is dedicated to setting up and maintaining home networks.
There is too much information, and too many options to post a useful help on this forum.
You will find some good stuff with a Gurgle search for "Home Network Setup"

Step one; get all systems to access the router (wired or wireless)

Step two; On the system which has the HD to be shared,
  1. ensure File Sharing is active on all systems
  2. create a folder with an obvious name (OurData)
  3. then Share that folder, using the property->Sharing Tab
  4. allow anyone to make changes

the other systems will then Map Network Drive to \\yourSystem\OurData
