I've been trying this for 3 hours & no luck, please help

  1. Connect your iPhone to your computer with a USB cable. ...
  2. On the home screen, click Phone Transfer.
  3. Click the "+" icon and select the pictures that you want to transfer. ...
  4. Then specify a path as the destination to store the pictures.

Well, I've tried a few of them but no luck. 3000 plus pictures, 192 videos, not too happy

Well, I've tried a few of them but no luck. 3000 plus pictures, 192 videos, not too happy.
 
I DO not know how it happened, trial & many errors, but I finally got ALL 3000 plus pictures transferred to a folder on my desktop:)

Connect your iPhone with the cable and unlock it. Trust the computer if prompted. On your PC, open File Explorer and navigate to your iPhone's "DCIM" folder (stores photos). Drag and drop desired photos to a folder on your PC.
