HP / Dell / etc. laptop password help thread

Bios Inspiron 6400

I have a inspiron 6400, I have problem with de admin password, I can´t access bios setup and I can´t access to windows. I was reading in this site some methods with a clip papers but in my laptop don´t exist 24CO2 chip instead there is 25P80. Do someone knows if clip papers process aplies with this chip??
 
I have an old HP omnibook 4150. Can't get into BIOS or into Windows. Have already tried to clear the CMOS, but I just erased clock settings, but password stayed on.

Can you help me?

your laptop dosnt have 24cxx eeprom no shorting possible
plz read previous posts.....
 
Dell D520

I've been reading these forums for 3-4 days in hopes of finding a way to unlock my Dell D520.
Have noticed that the D520 is not shortable.
I am fully locked out and have the Grey screen.
Can't boot from cd or USB.

I bought it for my wife to use for work.
She wanted a new laptop but I wanted to save cash and gt her one of Ebay.
Big Mistake.

We called Dell and did the transfer of ownership.
We are supposed to wait 10-15 days and then Dell will unlock it for us.

Problem is Wife needs it right away.
If anyone here can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Use the public library for Internet (and computer) access and wait
Pretty sure if you purchase a locked laptop off eBay, you can get a refund too (seems obvious and reasonable!)
Unless you just have to pay!! Very strange, but we're all different I suppose.
 
i have a Dell D420 and from what I have read you cannot clear the bios password by shorting certain pins or removing the cmos battery so if you can help me I would be extremely grateful!

Dell D520 Locked

I am aware of the many sites that will unlock it for cash but most seem shady.
I have seen several sites hosted by Blogspot and spunlock is gone now.

I hoped someone could do it for free but if I have to pay WHO is the most reliable source?

urgent dell password help needed

I have seen a few members here hae password generators, and I understand that beggars can't be choosers and patience is a virtue etc. etc.
I have also read in the terms that members cannot solicit funds...
with all that said, I am going to be impatient and ask for a PM from someone who can provide me passwords for both a D620 and an inspiron 5150 tomorrow.
I would be happy to send a small needed part or some other thank you gift.
