I would like to re-state to all New members, that there are FREE alternatives, than paying high costs.

Before deciding to accept any message on how you can pay to receive your passwords:
1. Read this entire thread (you are currently on) On many laptops, the passwords can be freely removed
2. Dell will supply you a password for under $40 only
3. Shop around. There are many pay for services out there, quite a few at eBay, and basically a Google search will find hundreds!

You have been informed

Also read my last post h e r e on free alternatives :)

Note I will continue to post this message on each page change here

hi, I actually don't know if this is the right post, but as many other people I received the HP notebook xe3 from a friend who got it from the company he was working for, and of course now I need the bios password.. the thing is that I tried to hit f12 to get the hash code, but it doesn't work..
so all I got is this:
service ID 11148
serial number: TW11903229
it's a phoenix bios!
any suggestions, ideas?
Charlie!

Dell D530 Password removal

Hi

New member here , in search of a way to remove a system password from a Dell D530. I have read most of the threads regarding password removal but to no avail. I have stripped the laptop down to the motherboard level, desperatley trying to find the chip so I can do the paperclip method but unable to find the 24C02 chip on this board.

I have googled for answers and but not found any. It has been 4 long days of going through post after post! There must be a way, there simply must! If anyone knows where this security eeprom is or how to reset the password on this model then please PLEASE let me know! :)

try to enter 3 times wrong password ,and see if you get hash or disabled code!

"no possible free ways for your dell only to buy password from this guy"

There must be another way. Even if changing the eeprom is a possibility....
