Power-On password for Compaq Presario R3000

Hi to everyone.

I need power-on password for Compaq Presario R3000.

Hash code after 3 wrong attempts is 04861. I tried unlock6.exe v1.0 but still no luck. I will greatly appreciate every persons' help and effort to help me with this challenge which is now became my headache.

Hello,

Can anyone help with the BIOS password for a Dell Inspiron 1525. From what I've read this model can't be cleared by shorting. The Service Tag is DTMWZG1. Thanks.

Hey all

I have a HP Omnibook XE3 with a forgotten BIOS password.

I have emailed HP (no reply), Then called HP they told me to go to the "nearest" service center 4 HOURS DRIVE AWAY

The Hash code is 13304

If anyone (hgpl, Remzibi ect.) could give me a working password that would be awesome.

i have a dell 1525 with bios password blocked if i replace the motherboard with a another exact board would the laptop work? i have another dell 1525 with bad chip but board still good.
 
can someone help me find this master password of a dell D630, which service tag end by 595B

can somebody tell me exactly what to with that 595B since Dell doesn't want to generate me the code nor find master password generator?

I have the same issue with the same system. I can't answer your motherbord question for sure, but It would be logical. Regardless, I'll keep working on a solution for my situation and when I find it I'll let you know!

BTW, I took your suggestion and submitted a request to transfer ownership of my 1525 with Dell. Since I couldn't submit it on the system and don't know the original owner info, I'm not sure how it will turn out. I'm still looking for a free or reasonably priced alternative as opposed to waiting 10 to 15 days on Dell before I can use the system.

Thanks for all your contributions to this thread/topic. Any other suggestions? I don't happen to have a spare motherboard laying around!

i downloaded Latitude MasterPW.exe and latitude.exe nothing work
i cant boot i have PowerOnPassword...
and Latitude E6400 is not listed within Paperclip Proceedure
 
Haven't tried to replace motherboard yet just wanted to know if anybody else has tried before i go tearing apart the other laptop
 
I cant retrieve a hash code, what do i do?

I have an hp omnibook vt6200, everybody talks about hash codes, I cant figure it out. Did I miss a thread?
 
hdd crash dammed password :)

Ok,

Fixing a friends hdd crash on a Presario 2500 laptop. Of course, BIOS password is set and forgotten.

I tried the codes generated by unlock6 (download link elsewhere in this board) and also tried the "new version 1.1" (I can't post links with less than 5 posts, but goto 4shared, a site similar to rapidshare, and search for HDD_PW). It's named HDD_PW, but it's the same thing as a slightly improved unlock6.

It seems on some Compaqs, when you type the wrong password 3 times, you get an error code similar to 01255. What you do for SOME HP/COMPAQ MODELS ONLY (not too many) is that you run that utility (i.e. HDD_PW.EXE or the older UNLOCK6.EXE) and supply in the command line this error code followed by an space and the number 0. It then responds with a couple of password codes. You can use any one of them as the backdoor password.

i.e. C:>HDD_PW.EXE 01255 0
asdfghi
jklmnop

"asdfghi" would be the password to use in this example.

Also, in some laptops, whenever the BIOS screen asks you for the (unknown) password, you can get the hash code by pressing F12. It will then give you that 5 digits number (i.e. 01255) you need to figure out a working backdoor password.

Well, all these didn't seem to work for me, so if someone could generate a backdoor for hash code 04501 on a phoenix BIOS presario 2500, I'll shall be grateful.
