Hello and welcome to Techspot.

I have moved your post to it`s own thread, this will save any confusion.

You`re using an outdated version of HijackThis and your system is infected with malware.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

Regards Howard

Follow the instructions in my post above, then post the requested logfiles, including an updated version of HijackThis.

Regards Howard :)

Unless you follow the instructions properly and post all the requested log files, I can`t help you.

i sent u everything u ask for n i follow the steps now i cant change my home page but my computer is very slow

ssry i can change my home page i cann acces to task manger but my computer is running very slow

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name(NOT THE ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT). See how HERE.

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how HERE.

Open your task manager, by holding down the ctrl and alt keys and pressing the delete key.

Click on the processes tab and end process for(if there).

svchost32.exe

Close task manager.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=userinit.exe,C:\WINDOWS\system\lsass.exe

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {6CCEC1C3-000A-7A87-2364-7AB21D6A8B90} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\bcv.dll (file missing)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Yahoo Messenger] C:\WINDOWS\system\svchost32.exe

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT.

Locate and delete the following bold files and/or directories(if there).

C:\WINDOWS\system\svchost32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system\lsass.exe

Reboot into normal mode and rehide your protected OS files.

Post a fresh HJT log and let me know how your system is running.

i don't see the files u told me to delete but i used the hjt n i deleted the one u told me to .still my computer is running very slow
i don't know what to do.when i access task manager i see that my cpu usage is very high when i am using only one application so would u help me
there is an hjt log i just scan
thx u for your future help

Your HJT log is clean.

Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how HERE.

Now, turn system restore back on. This will have deleted all your old restore points and any nasties that are in them. It will also have created a new, clean restore point.

Go and read this thread HERE. It will show you how you can speed up your system.

If you have any further virus/spyware problems, please post in this thread.

Regards Howard :)

Sorry, but can you explain what the admin password has to do with your problem? Are you the main user of the computer? Are there any other user accounts on the system?

Regards Howard :)

yes i am the main user ,there is only one user

when i am working on firefox ,once in a while a window ask me to i want to save asad msn.what do i have to do to stop it

Ok, let`s see if you have something that`s hiding on your system.

Download the Autoruns programme from HERE. When the programme runs, click options and make sure the "Hide Microsoft Entries" is ticked. Click the file menu and select refresh. Click the save icon and save the Autoruns log to wherever you want.

Attach the Autoruns log here.

Your Autoruns log is clean.

Take a look at this article HERE and tell me if this is what`s happening to you. If it`s not, can you post a pic of your problem?
