it has

3 gbs ram DDR2
8200 intergrated NVIDIA GeForce


is there any way i can put a video card in this?

is this the laptop or the desktop unit? You usually cannot replace the video graphics card on an Acer laptop, but you can easily replace the one on the desktop.

This is a "Value" desktop and it looks like no 3rd party video card will fit in it

Not so. My reading of the specs is that it is 64 bit, and has both PCI Express X1 and PCI Express X16, based on the site you posted.

I have worked on many of these 'slimline' cases, most likely you are limited to half pcb cards.

+1 raybay. I think with a PCI-E x16 you should be able to put a card in.
