IE 7.0 not working

When I fire up IE, it just hangs. I have to use task mgr to kill it. When I fire it up with no add-ons, it works. This is a XP SP2 box.

Are there a lot of known add-ons that cause this behavior? Do I have to go thru them one at a time to see if they cause the issue? I don't even use IE(firefox), however, something that I am trying to register for only works on IE.

Well, if you don't use it, then why all the add-ons?

Also, have you heard of IEtab?

Also, if you don't use it, you might as well remove the add-ons.

If you right click on the IE icon, can you choose "run without add ons"? Does it open that way? You may need to get rid of a few add ons.
