I'm no lawyer...

No, it should be, porn studio files suit against, "1000 pirates and slave girls 3D".

I understand why you didn't pluralize "pirate", in your statment, but this is the exception that proves the rule, as the singular word "pirate", limits the combined quantity to 1000, whereas my way, you can have 1000 pirates, and as many slave girls as suits your imagination. The "3D" thing I just threw in for laughs. The 3D will probably have to wait until they gear up for "My Naughty Blue Analtar"

Now that I know there's good jobs to be had as copyright attorneys on retainer to pornographers, I'm headin' to law school. I know my mum is lookin' down on me from heaven, and I'm gonna do my best to make her proud

yeah...just wishful thinking. You could lose the pirate all together as far as I'm concerned.

Actually neither wording is quite correct, or fully explanatory. I think that changing the "pirate" to "pirates", would serve to clarify the fact that the, "pirates" and the girls, were not the same entity. I think it would however, force a limitation of the overall quantity of pirates and slave girls to 1000. So, a happier "outcome" might be if the slave girls were masquerading as pirates, and there was at least a thousand of them. "ARGH......!

A scenario which actually reinforces your viewpoint. And BTW,encourages rebuttal.
