ImgBurn Won't detect my Dvd-Burner

I have a SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S223F and whenever I try to burn a dvd using ImgBurn, (A dvd burning program), as shown below, it says that there is no device detected. I haven't tried just burning a disk with any other program but the drive when I try to eject it the drive stays open!!! I dont know why it wont let me burn dvd's but that is why I am posting. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Replace the drive, it is very common for DVD drives to eventually fail
