Intel to disable Alder lake avx512 compatibility through bios update

Can't find much information on this subject, but does AMD support this on their standard AM whatever sockets and how important is this feature? If I'm running a server I'd want ecc memory regardless of what it's doing so I don't see this as a total loss but it's also nice to have options as a hobbyist

AMD does not support AVX-512 anywhere. AMD Might support it with Zen4.

AVX-512 has very limited use. Basically if you don't know you need it, you don't.
