  1. Hello

I am currently trying to download the latest version of Adobe Flash player from the Adobe site and just before the installation I get the below popup in IE7

"Internet Explorer blocked this site from using an activeX control in an unsafe manner"

    I have tried the following:
Adjusted the security settings in IE7
Downloaded and installed a standalone version
Downloaded the latest XPP and IE updates

Can anyone think of anything else other than installing another web browser?
  2. I'm not really sure.. The only thing i can think of is you're not on the official Adobe site?
Click here and try Adobe Flash
Or here's a direct link to the download from the Adobe site

I also highly suggest you use a different browser to IE. Try Opera

    Hope this helps

Install Firefox. Use it to make the install download, then use IE to do a install download, then attempt to install them in SAFE MODE
