Internet Problems

I am connected to the internet, but some download down work for me. When I try to log on aim it dosnt get a connection. When I go to Tools> Network Diagnostics for windows XP it dosnt pass saying"Windows cannon connect to the internet using HTTP,HTTPS,or FTP. This is probaly cause by firewall on this computer. I reinstalled windows a couple days ago so i have no firewalls that I downloaded. I turned off windows firewall, but it didnt help. I am connected to the internet but most programs dont think I am.

do the opposite; disable UPnP and enable the default XP/* SP2 firewall.

downloads look no different than accessing the webpage; if you can do one you
should be able to do the other
UNLESS you're talking about some Torent eg Limewire
