Is it bad to keep laptop on AC all the time?

I have the Dell precision m3800. Removed the battery because it was swelling and risked leaking and damaging the insides, I won't be receiving the new battery anytime soon. I've been running it on AC with a UPS, and shutting down every night (there are occasional power cuts where I live). The problem is, I have an essay due soon and I don't want to have to close all my research tabs and reload them again every morning. Is it bad to keep the laptop running all the time while plugged in to the wall?? How long can the power be out before my UPS stops working?

Thanks.

UPS conditions power so it should be 'ok' to run without battery IF the adapter is OEM. Aftermarket, non-OEM might not meet specification.

How often power cuts and when power cuts and how long power cuts together with UPS capacity compared to idling laptop use of power will determine your best strategy for managing use of your system.
