iTunes question

In itunes, is it best as shown or Sync with this iphone over wifi?
If 2nd option is checked, would it start synching when I'm in range of my home wifi?

Recall, iTunes MUST be running before any sync is possible. As shown, you need to drag out the Lightning cable and make the connection, whereas the WiFi sync only needs the phone to have WiFi active and the PC connected to the active router.
