How is your computer doing at the moment?

Please download OTC to your desktop. It'll remove most tools and logs we used so far. If any tool, file or folder (belonging to the program we have used) hasn't been deleted, please delete it manually.

  • Double-click OTC.exe to run it. (Vista and 7 users, please right click on OTC and select "Run as an Administrator")
  • Click on the CleanUp! button and follow the prompts.
  • You will be asked to reboot the machine to finish the Cleanup process, choose Yes. If it doesn't ask you to reboot, restart computer manually.
  • After the reboot all the tools we used should be gone.
  • The tool will delete itself once it finishes.

Please, post fresh HJT log.

So far from the past couple of days my computer has been approved greatly. I do not get any of these pesky pop ups anymore and the overall speed seems to be doing a lot better. I do not know what was fixed during the process besides the alarm.exe. But I do thank you greatly for your time in this process. Now if I could only fix my BSOD error my computer would be set lol.

For some reason it will never let be post hijackthis.log

Also, do you have any ideas for how to keep my computer consistent and what Virus/malware/spyware tools I should use to keep my computer fresh?

Very good :)
Keep Malwarebytes and Superantispyware. Run occasional scans.
Run TFC weekly.
What BSOD are you referring to?

8. Read How did I get infected?, With steps so it does not happen again!: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic2520.html

9. Please, let me know, how is your computer doing.

The same error you first originally helped me with. Due to the NEtgear USB 2.0 Adapter. I've tried getting the latest drivers yet my computer still gives me the blue screen. So I always have to keep my adapter unplugged when I am not using it. Though it sucks during games lol. I attached the log again just in case.

Thank you so much for the tips I will keep those programs and run them accordingly.
:)

OK, now your computer is free of any malwares, so I'll mark this thread as resolved, and I'll ask you to start new thread at BSOD forum about adapter issue.
