Keyboard & Mouse acting strangely after near fall of pc

Last night my PC nearly fell to the floor cuz I was unaware there were wires caught under my chair - needless to say, had trouble for abit with it as it gave a ram error - this, however, isn't my question/problem.

Since then at random types, my Logitech g600 mouse and not one but two keyboards have been acting strangely.

a. typing BBBBBBBBBBBBBB til I unplug the mouse after hitting the 1 button by accident.
b. caps lock is on but I'm typing in lower case on the keyboard
c. caps lock is off and it types in large letters on the keyboard
d. the number lock on but those keys on the side ie 1 through e. etc working like the ones above giving !@#$% etc

I've tried different USB slots, and what not. It seems to be alright now when I reboot it stops but if I accidentally hit a number on the side of the mouse it freaks out... so

Is this a hardware or software problem and if it IS a software problem how if anyway can I fix it?

though since I've hit 'shift' on the keyboard the problem fixed itself without rebooting again so maybe that is why but it was on a whole different keyboard.

thank you in advance for the help :)
