Keyboard won't power on

I just built a new computer and everything seems to be powering on except I can't seem to figure out why the keyboard will not power on. I know it works because I tried it in my laptop and it worked fine.

I need some ideas on why it will not work. Thanks!

None of the ports are working I think. I tried plugging it into the mouse, keyboard, and USB slots and it doesn't work in any of them.

Was there a jumper I might have missed or is there usually a cord/power supply for the i/o devices?

Hum.. how did you manage to stick that keyboard in the PS/2 and USB ports? Or is it something really fancy that comes with some sort of an adapter?

Some computers require you to enable USB keyboard support in the BIOS, although that should be the default for new machines really..

Try using a different cable, check jumper settings are correct for your situation (slave/master etc)..
