Keyboard.

Hello everybody, am hoping (again) someone can assist. Here goes:- about a month ago I bought a keyboard. It is called a Desktop Elite (not Microsoft). The connections are as follows. Cable from back of keyboard, about 12" down divides into 3 separate leads, one finishes with a usb connection the other two are coloured red and green. I tried connecting the usb lead into my usb port at rear of tower, started the m/c up message on start-up screen "no keyboard". Disconnected the usb lead plugged back into the PS2 connection and the keyboard was back. How can I get the usb lead recognised? Thanks again. No installation disc with keyboard. There is also a usb port on the side of the keyboard. Any help welcomed.

Go into BIOS looks for Integrated Peripherals section and enable USB Legacy Support and USB Mouse support...Your BIOS may be different but there should be similar settings.
