Laptop crashing, now won't turn on at all

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop, it started randomly crashing but it would start right back up no problem. Then It started getting more and more frequent. And then it started not turning back on right away after crashing, but it would eventually turn on after a little while. But now it won't turn on at all. I tried removing the battery and just running it on the charger, but that changed nothing, I still did it. Anyone have any ideas?

The hard drive is probably corrupt from all the crashing. If you can, have someone remove and re-install the memory and remove the hard drive to see if the laptop comes back to life by lights turning on and the screen starting to display without the hard drive installed
