Logitech z-680

hi i bought these speakers sometime ago. they still work well i assume because i dont have anything to compare them with. it took me along time to learn how to calibrate them also.partly because they have their own decoder. my question is why did logitech stop making them. the wires on the 2 rear speakers got messed up. i had to replace them with monster cables seems to work ok. was just wondering if there was a reason they dont make them anymore.

the reason is because they update it with the Z5500.
