Hi,
I have Asus M4A78 Pro MB which has an integrated 5.1 sound card.
I have creative 5.1 sound system connected to the back panel and the output is good.
The problem is with the front panel ( a headphone port and a mic port ), the output from the headphone port is two low, i have to set every possible option to max ( program sound, windows sound and the headphone itself ) and i get a noise in this way, but if i connect the headphone to the creative system i get a very good sound from the headphone without the need to max everything. I need to connect the headphone to the front panel.

Any idea about this ?

Thanx in advance......

When you say, "I have creative 5.1 sound system connected to the back panel...," what do you mean by system? Do you have a Creative sound card or do you have a Creative speaker system or both?

I think he means speaker system

anyway

Do you have the Realtek HD Audio Manager?
if so, open it, insert the headset, double click on the green connector icon right under where it says ''frontpanel'' and set it to headset.

thats what i had to do couse i had the same problem and this did the trick for me.
