main drive becomes F:\

I recently had so many problems with windows xp I had to format and install a new copy. I have two hard drives and just formatted drive c:\ using madboot. After installation My master drive became drive F:\ and slave became drive C:\ Why is this, and will this be a problem? It all seems a bit strange to me.

It shouldn't be a problem. You can change the drive letter assignments in Disk Management.
