After I updated Windows 10 to 1803 (April Update) I noticed my taskbar isn't black anymore, it's actually a dark gray. For some reason I find it extremely ugly and distracting. Is there anyway to change it and make it black? I'm open to all ideas, regedit, software, anything.

It's so annoying that I had to undo the update. I can't stand the taskbar is dark grey and not black. I really hope someone can find a solution.

Hmm; interesting, as Win/7 is/has been gray for years (I have zero interest in win/10 tablet emulation)

Right click anywhere on the desktop and choose "personalize". ,On the left side choose "colors" and it would appear there is no "black", the darkest one is "storm" which is a dark charcoal. Frankly that is what mine was set to and I thought it was black. Why not just choose your favorite color and then check "start, taskbar and action centre". If you use "storm" and take off transparency it will really look black.
