March 9th Update Performance Drop

Hi guys,

After installing the updates published to windows update for windows 7 X64 I get a massive 30fps drop in many games and crysis takes a hit of 50fps from normal after this update. I rolled back using system recovery to the restore point right before I installed them and the problems are gone. Has anyone else experienced this?

nope, but i don't update unless it's a service pack so i guess i can't be of too much help. the only thing i can think of is the update affecting a background process or maybe a certain security feature. perhaps monitoring the resources or checking settings would reveal a clue, or just do some digging on MS tech net. do you know what exactly the update was supposed to change?
