I have just recently purchased a PC for the first time, I got this HP pavilion a705w-b from Walmart for cheap. On there website it says the memory is upgradeable to 2GBs and on HP's website and techincal support it in forms me that the mother board can only handle 1GB or 2 sticks of 512. Yet I have seen where they make 1GB sticks. My question is can I run two sticks of 1GB in my PC? I appreciated anybodies help on this. Thank you

Ah the Wal-Mart specials! I would listen to HP on this one but when in doubt then contact HP. Feel lucky they even have support for this Wal-Mart special computer. Good luck.
