Microsoft Edge is getting new features that may get you to switch browsers

LOL sure, I'm misunderstanding...just like Google's conduct was "don't be evil" at one time. If you ever worked work with encryption you'd know somebody always has the keys if need be. Chicken vs. egg thing. Yes, very controlled by Mozilla. Nobody said sync was mandatory, you missed the point there. You are a true believer!
You're just arguing for the sake of it. We're done here.

Yes we are. I do this stuff for a living and could get a lot more technical on web browsers, web surfing and encryption details but why bother. You win, Mozilla is only in it for the good of people.

No that can't, such functionality isn't in the code.
Can you prove that? Have you read every single line of every single source code file that makes up Firefox? No? Oh yeah, that means you don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to this conversation.

You have far too much faith in Mozilla to be doing the right thing. Go away you troll, you have no idea what you're talking about.

Not only that but can you prove Microsoft is collecting this kind of data? And don't come at me with unnamed or tin-foil-hat sources because I'll dismiss them. Until you show me verified sources of people who have broken down and decrypted all traffic between a computer and Microsoft and proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that personal data is being collected, you can take your conspiracy theories and stories and shove them. I deal in FACTS, not conspiracies.

A non programmer calling someone else out LOL. That is priceless. Try and audit millions of lines of code and then every point release thereafter. Removing and adding code is a thing. And then try and decipher if that code does what it says or does something different and to what private and public api it calls. "I have complete confidence and trust in them". Who sounds more like the troll?
