Everytime I switch on my PC, nothing happens the HD light is on but not flickering, the monitor stays blank, and the compter does not get to post, if I leave it like this for around 15 mins, it just turns on, the system is stable, no crashes. Changed monitor, recently replaced CPU, but problem was happening with old CPU. At a loss can anyone help please.

Can you give us your full system specs and anything else relevant?

Could be a memory problem. Do you have more than one memory module? If so take one out, restart the computer and see if the symptoms occur. If they are still there take out that memory module and try the other one. If that doesn't work the hard drive could be failing. I would also try to update the bios before replacing the hard drive.
