Monitor Problem

Ok well i just got a new 24inch Samsing Syncmaster monitor

The thing is when i go to watch a movie on my computer in fullscreen mode the video is really choppy, slow and poor. The video stops every few seconds and struggles to stream the video to my monitor and when it does play it's too chopped up to see anything.

Even on youtube, i can watch a small movie no problem but when i fullscreen it everything goes slow.



Anyways i am sure this is caused by my screen resolution or something but i've messed around with it a bit and doesn't seem to do anything. If anyone could help me it would be great. Would hate to know i bought this monitor and can't watch any video's on it.. lol...

i'm using Geforce4 MX 440

i have already updated my video driver



The video quality works fine as long as i watch the video in a small mode
but as soon as the video is made larger the pixelation goes to **** and the picture is choppy and slow

is it possible my computer is too crappy and old to handle the new monitor?
