Understand that before reading this post, I am no where near my PC.
Okay. I seem to have a problem lately where my monitor turns purple. To correct the problem I have to wobble my connection to the card around. This no longer works and I have to seat my full tower down on my desk. It takes up a lot of space... Now I haven't had the time to test out another monitor, video card or DVI to VGA connector, nor do I have the ability to perform those tests. I have an EVGA GeForce 7900 GS KO.
What do you guys think is the problem? My card, monitor, DVI to VGA adapter, my cable, or something else?
Oh and what do you think EVGA will send back as a replacement seeing as my card is 1 year and 15 days old now? Maybe an EVGA GeForce 9600 GT KO if I get lucky? Or would they just send me another lame 7900 GS?
