More workers say they'll quit instead of going back to the office full time

Most of the ones that are whining are those that play games and/or watch Netflix while they are supposed to be working, so companies will not miss them. Sure there are a few that actually do do good work at home, but those are so few and far between, that it's worth losing them when you gain so much by weeding out all the pathetic lazy sob.

Maybe that's the case in your country and the companies you worked at. That is far removed from the experiences I have at my previous companies.

I rather watch Netflix and play games at home than waste my time on gossip like a bunch of whiny schoolgirls which seems to be your preference.

The former at least adds something to my life.

Really no clue why they would want to force colleagues into the office just to have gossip sessions and productivity going down.

Like if there's people that want to waste their personal time on traveling, they're free to make that choice. You don't have to drag in others into your choices.

The person that said it doesn't sound fun to be around either, so that would be another reason not wanting to go. Would be even worse if this person ends up being an employer.

And again if you don't trust your colleagues, why would you want them around you, right?

Nope, just reasonably educated, & occasionally annoyed by tech guys who either do not bother to double-check their writing before posting it, or some other thing.
most tech guys are smart enough to know whats implied without crying about every grammar and spelling mistake on the internet.

Heading that route is conceding the argument because you have nothing better to talk about and have to resort to that.
