Multimedia Audio Controller

I'm having some trouble with my multimedia audio controller. Every time I turn on the computer the new hardware window pops up saying I need to install software for the multimedia audio controller. I go into the device manager and it has a big yellow question mark next to the multimedia audio controller. I suspect it to need a driver but I'm not sure. Help?
